Bridal Seamstress & Alteration Pricing
“How much are wedding dress alterations?” is the question I’m asked the most. I offer a very bespoke service. No body or surgery is the same, hence why we have alterations and make the dress a perfect fit for you.
Pricing a gown before I’ve seen it in person can be tricky. Manufacturing techniques change and fabrics are not always as they seem in photos.
However, I think it’s really important to know what these charges may be before you commit to working with me.

I can offer you a bespoke estimate after we’ve been in touch, after I’ve seen photos of the gown and when I know the designer. Please use the below prices as a guide and do contact me if you have any questions.
Typically, the most frequently required alterations cost £350 – £600.
I work to a three-fitting system, usually twelve, eight and four weeks before the wedding – if time and my diary allow. Steaming of your gown is included in your quote, unless this is the only service you require.
Missed fittings will be charged at £35 per fitting.
